Our kindergarten class is an interesting, fun and social academic community.  We will use various approaches to learning to engage all kindergartners.  We will help your children grow and develop their interpersonal skills by understanding their emotions and others emotions.  A daily morning meeting will be planned to reinforce social and academic skills.  Academically, your children will be starting with phonemic awareness activities that will lead to the development of reading and writing skills.  Your children will be engaged in math activities appropriate for their ages using manipulatives.  We will round out the curriculum with S.T.E.A.M. activities, Social Studies, movement as well as our special classes of art, music, PE and library.  We will strive to teach, encourage and support every learner in our care to be his/her best.  

 

We will be strictly enforcing all protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students and teachers.  We will be diligent in enforcing proper hygiene and explain in an age appropriate manner why we have certain rules and why it is important to follow them.
